Completed Application Form
A complete copy of the applicants transcripts should be forwarded to the Admission Office. Please download the Transcript Release Form to submit a transcript request to your son's current school.
Math and English Recommendations *
Each applicant is required to submit a graded writing sample.
Parents must provide a statement about their son. There is no form for the Parent Statement. Please describe your son's strengths and weaknesses along with your goals for your son while attending Hillside. This information will eventually be shared with your son's academic advisor.
Hillside School requires copies of applicants most recent standardized testing. For the Seventh, Eighth, and Ninth Grades, acceptable tests include the SSAT, ISEE, or WISC. For Fifth and Sixth Grades, the school accepts any current standardized testing.
Each prospective student is required to visit Hillside for an on campus interview with a member of our Admission team. A visit to campus will include a student tour of campus, the opportunity for parents to ask the student tour guide questions, an interview for both the student and parents, and a short writing sample for the student.
Our preferred campus visit schedule is as follows:
Monday: 10a.m. or 1:15p.m.
Tuesday: 9a.m. or 11a.m.
Wednesday: 1:15p.m. or 2p.m.
Thursday: 9a.m. or 11a.m.
