Solar Power

The roof of the Academic & Health Center is covered with 211 solar panels that help to power the campus - effectively decreasing the School's carbon footprint and energy costs.

Recycling

Recycling bins can be found in all buildings, dorms, and classrooms. Students are taught and reminded about the impact that recycling can have on the environment.

Farm-to-Table Crops

The Hillside Farm boasts a greenhouse and outdoor growing fields for crops. Students and staff help to cultivate produce at the farm that is incorporated into the daily lunch menu. Additionally, the Hillside chefs maintain a small organic vegetable garden to ensure that students receive the freshest, most eco-friendly food available.
