Hillside is committed to teaching students how to work and communicate responsibly using technology. All students are required to log-on to the campus-wide wireless network with a unique username and password to encourage responsible internet use. Additionally, all students are required to register their technology (iPads, iPods, laptops, etc.) with the Director of Technology.
Students are required to adhere to Hillside's Acceptable Use Policy.
All classrooms at Hillside are equipped with a projector, computer and speakers and most are equipped with digital interactive whiteboards. Hillside students are required to provide their own laptop for academic use, but can be provided with a school netbook on a temporary basis. All courses at Hillside have a class site which provides students and their parents access to assignments and other resources.
The iPad Program
Hillside has launched an all-iPad program after two years of testing. Please visit our detailed page on the program for specific details, FAQs and more.
