Capital Campaign

The unparalleled generosity of capital donors supports and enhances all aspects of the School above and beyond the incredible support provided by Annual Fund giving. Through The Campaign for Hillside,  alumni, families, and friends help the school to achieve its highest aspirations.

Over the past decade, capital donors have made the following projects possible:

  • Chase Chapel (2009)
  • Weezie Courtyard (2009)
  • Construction of the Academic & Health Center (2008)
  • Renovation of Stevens Hall (2008)
  • Expansion of the Dining Room (2006)
  • Redevelopment of the Wick Tutorial Center (2006)
  • Construction of Maher House (2006)
  • Construction of Mack House (2004)
  • Construction of the Messman-Saran Library (2002)
  • Construction of the Student Center (2001)

Hillside's Newest Campaign Endeavor: An Athletic Center

During the past decade, the Hillside campus has grown tremendously. The Student Center, residential houses, and Academic & Health Center have all - among many other projects - made Hillside the school it is today.

Athletics are a key component of life at Hillside. Through a variety of seasonal options from lacrosse to sailing to yoga, students are taught the values of competition including teamwork and sportsmanship. The Hillside Marquee Sports Program, launched in 2010, has further defined the school’s athletic focus. The Marquee Sports are led by an experienced coaching staff who have already - in the program’s early stages - brought victory to Hillside.

As Hillside athletic teams have grown in size and advanced in level of skill, the need for additional facilities is clear. Thanks to donor generosity, a track; new fields for baseball, lacrosse, and soccer; and tennis courts have been added to the campus in recent years. Now the focus has turned to indoor space.
