This weekend, June 8-9, the American Cancer Society will host its inspiring "Bikes Battling Cancer" event at Hillside. ACS organizers hope cyclists will rally together to raise awareness and funds for their work, and to create a world with less cancer and more birthdays.

Ninth graders visited the JFK Library yesterday, taking in the new Cuban Missile Crisis exhibit. With graduation only a couple of weeks away, it was a valuable time to bond with classmates.

As part of its ongoing Health & Wellness Series, the Hillside community welcomed Diana Kamila, senior instructor at the Stress Reduction Program and Center for Mindfulness at the University of Massachusetts Medical School. She demonstrated how to use mindfulness-based stress reduction (MBSR) to improve health, balance, and peace of mind.
