The JV Lacrosse team made a trek down to Rectory School for our first game of the 2012 season. The boys played an excellent game; nobody can say that they didn’t give it their all for the entire 40 minutes. However, Rectory was just a bit better.

Hillside's midfielders worked very hard to get up the field on offense, but would frequently have to turn right back around to get on defense. Chris Trudeau '13 scored our only goal in the third period of the game. Although everybody worked extremely hard, the team, as a whole, struggled with ground balls. This seemed to be the cause of our demise. We lost the majority of the 50/50 balls, giving Rectory an advantage that we could not afford.

However, the score does not reflect the amount of heart and effort that each and every member put into the game. We couldn’t be more proud of our first game!
