Math and English Recommendations *
Each applicant is required to submit a graded writing sample, we do not require SAO's supplemental essays (optional).
Parents must provide a statement about their son. There is no form for the Parent Statement. Please describe your son's strengths and weaknesses along with your goals for your son while attending Hillside. This information will eventually be shared with your son's academic advisor.
Hillside asks all international applicants whose primary language is not English to submit test results for the TOEFL Junior. For more information on registration, test dates and locations, please visit the TOEFL Junior website. Please note, we do not require the TOEFL Junior or Standardized Testing for 5th and 6th grade applicants.
On-Campus or Skype Interview
We invite each prospective student to visit Hillside for an on campus interview with a member of our Admission team. A visit to campus will include a student tour of campus, the opportunity for parents to ask the student tour guide questions, an interview for both the student and parents, and a short writing sample for the student.
Please contact the Admissions office at email@example.com or (508) 485-3483 to schedule your on campus visit.
While we encourage all applicants to visit campus in person, we recognize that this may not be possible for some of our international families. Families who cannot travel to Hillside should contact the Admission Office to schedule a Skype interview. Interviews will be at least 30 minutes long and prospective students must be prepared with three English language books that they have completed. Hillside School’s Skype address is HillsideSchool.
